Mystery Book Club
Meets the second Monday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Do you love Mysteries? Do you enjoy being part of a group that loves reading "who-done-its" whether they are courtroom thrillers or crazies? Want to discuss these books with other mystery lovers & discover new authors? Join the Mystery Book Club, where you meet new people and discuss the books that you love. Call the Community Center for a list of upcoming mysteries.

Great Decisions
Thursdays, February 5-March 26, 1:00-3:30pm
Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. Each week, participants will read a chapter in the Great Decisions Briefing Book, watch a video (in class) and meet in a local Discussion Group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today. The topics for 2026 can be found at www.fpa.org Each participant must have a valid email address for the instructor to send out information prior to the start of class. The briefing book, available in January, is required for this class (cost of $35 plus shipping) and can be ordered online or by contacting sales at 1 (800) 477-5836 or sales@fpa.org. NOTE: Registration closes February 1.
Photo Enthusiasts
Monthly on the 2nd Wednesday; 5:45-7:45 pm
Open to novice to expert photographers and anyone interested in sharing or learning more about photography. We discuss a wide range of photography-related topics. The learning experience is fantastic.
We share our best photos we have taken, tips and tutorials on all aspects of capturing better images, and we help with graphic software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Elements, in-phone editors, etc. Also, enjoy monthly field trips to do photo shoots together.
Men's Discussion Group (no meeting January 19 and February 16)
Monthly every Monday from 10:00 to 11:30 am
Guest speakers are selected from experienced professionals in their field. Their presentations include a wide range of relevant and useful topics with emphasis on issues of importance to seniors. Our gentlemen members are given an opportunity to participate through discussion and unstructured question and answer periods. This arrangement provides a richly rewarding and mutually beneficial shared experience. An example of topics include: health, personal wellbeing, community affairs, environmental, social and retirement lifestyles that foster the on-going interest of learning.
American Sign Language - "Meetup"
Meets every Monday 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and every Tuesday 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This meetup will focus on conversational ASL, finger spelling, vocabulary and grammar. The session is peer-led.
Memoir and Reading Group - Writing Life Stories
Meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Memoir Writer and Reading Group welcomes anyone who wishes to write or who is already writing some stories of their lives.
Table Talk for Women
Meets every Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Join this great bunch of women every week for friendly conversation about current events or experiences, past and present. This group occasionally plans activities away from the Center as well.
Music Groups
Swing Time Music - Cancelled until further notice
Meets the third Tuesday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Swing Time is all about the pure joy of hearing the original recordings from that magical era when swing was king. It was a time of big bands, crooners and singing groups, grand ballrooms, dance contests, and dance crazes.

Golden Age of Radio - will resume in April
Meets the first Thursday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Check out the many radio shows that are available for your entertainment. Whether you enjoy mystery, drama, or comedy, there is something for everyone. Sit back and enjoy the best of the best. In addition to the current selection of tapes & CD's, Golden Age of Radio offers MP3 discs for loan to our members.

Open Jam Session
All instruments are welcome! Musicians are encouraged to participate in this weekly Wednesday jam session which meets from 2 to 4 p.m. This is an informal gathering of people who like to make music. Community Center membership is required.
Ukulele Players
Meets on the 1st & 3rd Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. This program is for beginners concentrating on popular genres of music, i.e. Pop, Folk, Hawaiian, Oldies. Please bring your own ukulele. Loaner ukuleles available for first-time players. Chord chart and sheet music will be provided to new players. Community Center membership is required.
Spanish Groups
Advanced Conversational Spanish
Meets every Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Advanced Conversational Spanish is open to all ages who have Spanish skills and would like to practice speaking the language. Community Center membership is required.
Intermediate Spanish Club
Meets every Thursday from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Spanish Two is Intermediate Spanish. This program is intended for those who have a Spanish language background. For those who seek Beginners Spanish courses, please visit the Community Services department's recreational programs.
