Hooks & Needles is open to Community Center Members who want to join in the wonderful world of knitting and crocheting. Members exchange patterns and share helpful advice with each other. All ranges of experience are present and all are welcome although, this is not a teaching group, but rather a sharing group. The members not only knit and crochet for their personal use but also for charity. Each year hundreds of items are donated to various charities.
Open Table Top Art
Fridays from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
Community Center membership is required. Use the Community Center Art Room to work on your own Table Top Art Projects or Crafts, including Woodcarving. Participants bring their own supplies and materials. Time and space are provided, no instructor.
This peer-led club is for moderate painters. Participants are welcome to bring their own photographic reference still-life setup and their own supplies. Free program for members, non-members $5.00 per week. Registration is not required. Bring all your own supplies- paint, brushes, canvas, etc.
Quilts N' More
First Thursday of each month from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
Join this group to further your sewing and quilting skills. Information will be provided to advance these skills. Programs are held to share ideas, educate, inform, enrich, and inspire sewing experiences for people of all ages who have an interest in developing or improving their skills. The goal of the group is to retain and improve the rapidly disappearing skill of sewing and quilting.
