Services

The most common service areas provided by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office for Fountain Hills are crime prevention, traffic enforcement safety and education, support of the municipal court and youth education and activity.

The Sheriff's Office also provides K9 deputies, a tactical operations unit, air support, motors special enforcement unit, special investigation (drug interdiction), homicide, special victims unit, community support and education.

Court Services

The town maintains its own magistrate court which addresses municipal issues such as code violations, orders of protection, restraining orders and juvenile violations. The Sheriff's Office of Fountain Hills provides direct support to this effort for warrant service, collection of fines, courtroom security and service of court orders.

Ordinance Enforcement

The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office handles violations of the town codes that occur on the roadways.

Traffic Safety

In a growing community such as Fountain Hills, traffic safety has become an increasingly important concern.

The Sheriff's Deputies perform traffic studies, maintain files on potentially hazardous conditions, speak to service clubs, civic groups and students on traffic safety issues as well as conduct enforcement functions in school zones and neighborhoods.
