Local Elections
Complete candidate packets for the 2022 Mayor/Council election are now available in the Town Clerk's Office. It is recommended that an appointment be scheduled with the Town Clerk to review the packet if a candidate is not familiar with the process. However, the necessary forms are also available below for the candidate's convenience:
Statement of Interest - This form must be filed with the Town Clerk's Office prior to any signatures being collected.
Statement of Organization - If candidates will be spending or receiving, in any combination, more than $500 during the election cycle, this form must be filed. Please maintain all documentation so that this form may be filed once the candidate hits the $500 level.
Candidate Nonpartisan Petitions - Completed petitions will not be filed until March/April of 2022, but once the Statement of Interest has been filed, these may be circulated for signatures.
Candidate Nonpartisan Nomination Paper - This form will be filed in March/April of 2022, along with the signed petitions and completed Financial Disclosure Statement.
Financial Disclosure Statement - This form will be filed in March/April of 2022, along with the signed petitions and completed Nonpartisan Nomination Paper.

Candidate Flyer - This is an information document that includes important dates and information needed for the 2022 election.
Voter Registration
Voters may register to vote online. Hard copy voter registration forms may be obtained by contacting the Town Clerk's Office or at the Maricopa County Recorder's offices during regular business hours.

Voter Eligibility Requirements
Qualified electors must register prior to midnight 29-days preceding the date of the election. An individual is eligible to register to vote as provided in state law: ARIZ. REV. STAT. §9-822, ARIZ. REV. STAT. §16-101 and ARIZ. REV. STAT. §16-121 and Town Code, Chapter 2, Section 2-9-1.
Voters may verify the status of their voted early ballot and that it has been received by Maricopa County Elections for processing and tabulation through the Arizona Secretary of State's office website or on the Maricopa County Recorder's Election website.
Voters may verify the status of their provisional ballots through the Maricopa County Recorder's Election website.
