As part of a regional display of unity, the fountain in Fountain Park will be lit in blue and yellow on Thursday, Aug. 24, in honor of Ukraine Independence Day 2023.
This event is the second year that the Town has joined other communities in recognizing Ukraine’s fight for freedom and Independence Day by lighting the fountain in colors representing Ukraine’s national colors.
The Town can shine various colors on the fountain with LED lighting The fountain can reach a height of 560 feet when running on all three pumps. At 560 feet, the fountain is the fourth tallest water fountain in the world.
The fountain runs from the top of the hour for 15 minutes from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. daily unless wind conditions exceed 10 mph.
