With the Diamond fire still active in McDowell Regional Park, the park is still closed and will be so over the weekend while fire crews are still responding. For safety reasons, we want to keep the recreating public out so that the fire crews can work without worrying about individuals being in the burned areas and them getting hurt.
So the trails will be closed, and we are not allowing campers or day-use vehicles in.
