[ARCHIVED] Town of Fountain Hills to Hold Second Covid-19 Vaccination Event

The Town of Fountain Hills will hold the second Covid-19 vaccination event on Saturday, June 5, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Community Center located at 13001 N. La Montana Drive.

The first vaccination event was held on May 1, and this is the second dose of the Moderna vaccine. In addition, children ages 12 and over are now eligible for vaccination, as well as those looking for their first vaccine and are encouraged to attend. These groups will receive the first dose of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine.

To schedule your vaccination, go to https://curative.com/sites/28420/. Walk-ups and people wishing to receive their first dose are also welcome.  

With any Covid-19 vaccination, there are possible side effects you may experience, including pain, redness, and swelling where you received the shot. You may also experience tiredness, headache, muscle pain, chills, fever, and nausea. These side effects usually start within a day or two of getting the vaccine. Side effects might affect your ability to do daily activities, but they should go away in a few days.
