ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE- McDowell Mountain Road near milepost 5 is closed due to a vehicle accident. Traffic is closed in both directions and the only detour is through Scottsdale. McDowell Mountain Park remains open but must be accessed from the Rio Verde side, not from Fountain Hills.
MCSO are turning cars around just past the middle school.
Expect this closure for several hours.
