On Monday, March 30, 2020, Governor Ducey issued an executive order mandating Arizonans to Stay Home, Stay Health, and Stay Connected. The executive order took effect at the end of work day on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 and will end on Thursday, April 30. In order to help combat and reduce the exposure to the COVID-19 virus, this measure is intended to minimize the social contact between members of the public during the next month. In many places around the U.S. and the world, the stay at home approach has been an effective means of managing the COVID-19 pandemic by reducing exposure to the virus.
