[ARCHIVED] Trash and Recycling Schedule Change

Republic Services was awarded a new contract by the Town Council on January 15th, to continue providing excellent recycling and trash service to the community of Fountain Hills. With this new agreement there are a few items that we want you to be aware of to ensure a smooth transition for everyone. These changes will go into effect the first week of April, 2019
There will be a change of service date for a majority of the households;

  • All Fountain Hills Wednesday 1x week customers will be moved to Thursday.
  • All Fountain Hills Thursday 1x week customers will be moved to Friday.
  • Customers that were 2x week on Tuesday/Thursday will be moved to Tuesday/Friday.
  • Customers that were 2x week on Monday/Wednesday will be moved to Monday/Thursday.

Each resident will receive 1 free bulk service per household per year (a $50 value). For your schedule please look at the map and schedule on page 2. Additional bulk pick-ups can be ordered anytime throughout the year if needed. If you are unsure of your zone please send an email with your name and address to to confirm.
*Material must be placed at least 5 feet from any fixed object including; Utility pole, cable box, mailbox ect.
Your material pile should not exceed 6 cubic yards (6ft high x 6ft wide x 4ft deep) Please neatly stack, bag or tie the material.

Set dates will be communicated via the Town’s website
As a reminder we do not guarantee a time of service but if you have not been serviced by 5:30pm on your service day it is possible you were missed please call in (602) 237-2078 and we will get you serviced ASAP.
